This place looks very sacred. I may be moving to boonville, california this august for a year, and I look forward to visiting. I am also looking for work in relation to the arts and community practice. Could you tell me a little more about where you are located, an address maybe so that I can send a resume. I would love to teach some workshops or just get really involved first. Please understand my interest. Thanks for your support as I get ready for this move to this wonderful place. Any information would be great.

I REALLY AM SO SORRY TO MISS SOCK ANIMALS!

But, I will have a house & yard full of people, still on Sunday. I'm attaching our electronic standard invitaton.

Though much of Mendocino County is on fire now, and the air is often thick with smoke, reinforcements have arrived, and come the end of July we'll all be ready to celebrate a long hot month with a weekend-long cool festivus for the rest of us!

The Mermen will be headlining Friday July 25 and Saturday July 26 at our annual private "Bring Your Own Everything" party. We do ask you to be as generous as you can when we pass the hat, as the event usually runs us about $(explicative).

We have scheduled several bands to play during the day Saturday, and may have more entertainment on Sunday.

We also like to encourage out-of-town revelers to take the 30+ minute drive to the ocean to escape the heat.

We have an intimate setting on about 5 acres with camping and potluck meals throughout the weekend.

Ours is a green event, so please pack out everything you pack in, and if you have your own picnic ware, that helps to cut down on the inevitable trash at these types of events. We also ask you to car-pool. So plan to bring a full car of responsible, respectful, revelers to enjoy this very special family-friendly event. We expect hot days and cool nights, so pack appropriately, and don't forget your flashlight.

Talk about it with all the cool folks you know.
